Question by Iain C: Where to mount PIAA lights on a ST1100?
Hi, I have a pair of PIAA 1100x driving lamps to fit to my 99 ST1100.

Choices for the mounting points seem to be
(a) under the mirrors (using a longer mirror bolt)
(b) on the forks (using mudguard/fender bolt)

Would appreciate advice on mounting points and any other tips from people who’ve tried these.

(btw I do have the 40amp alternator)

The mirrors would be the only place. If you mounted them on the mudguard, the road vibrations would rattle them to pieces eventually
